Quiet, comfortable and dog friendly, our first-floor self-catering apartment near Lampeter in Ceredigion gives you a simple, relaxed base with its own front door, views over the fields and 6.5 acres of grounds to wander. It suits couples and solo guests who like peace and space, with the option to bring the dog, cook for themselves and use the apartment as an easy base for exploring both the Ceredigion coast and the Cambrian Mountains.

Bedroom with a king size bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers and a fitted wardrobe, plis blackout Roman blinds help you get a good night’s sleep.

Lounge has a double aspect with lovely views over our fields and the surrounding countryside, with 6.5 acres of grounds that guests are welcome to explore. The room includes a two-seater sofa bed that converts into a comfortable bed suitable for a child or adult – particularly useful if two friends or colleagues are staying. There is also a unit with a 40″ Smart TV (with Amazon Prime) and DVD player, plus a matching cupboard with a selection of books and games.

Kitchen includes an electric oven with induction hob, toaster, microwave for the days you’d like to cook in, and a small fridge/freezer, along with an adjoining dining area.

Bathroom has a large P-shaped bath with shower over, basin and WC, plus a heated towel rail.

Access to the apartment is via external stone steps (13 steps and steep) from the courtyard, with parking directly outside the apartment. There is WiFi (around 70Mb/s broadband) throughout the flat, along with central heating. Guests have use of shared laundry facilities in the ground floor annex (fee applies).

The Nant Cledlyn (Cledlyn Stream) runs through our property and can be seen from the apartment living room. The apartment offers comfortable accommodation for two, in a central position for exploring Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire, including the Cambrian Mountains for walking, biking and climbing, and Cardigan Bay for watersports and dolphin spotting.

There are mown paths through the fields where you can soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the sounds of the river and wildlife, plus a footbridge across the river to a small nature area. Elsewhere on site we keep a number of chickens, and fresh eggs are usually available to buy.

We’re happy for you to bring your dog with you, so you don’t need to leave them behind. There’s plenty of space on site for short walks and fresh air, and lots of options for longer walks a short drive away. We just ask that you follow our simple dog policy and keep dogs under control around wildlife and other people.
